On March 21st at 4:20pm Chicago time, Louna’s debut single “Mama” was premiered on 95FM WIIL’s 4:20 Hit of the Day segment. The call and text in votes resulted in what the station described as an “overwhelming” and “huge” success. Seventy-five percent of the voters responded with a “puff” vote while only 25% said “pass.” We’re really happy with the result and look forward to receiving more airplay on WIIL as well as other stations around America!
Effective March 18th, our drummer, Leonid “Pilot” Kinzbursky is now officially a worldwide endorser of Wincent Drumsticks. Thanks Wincent! And congratulations Pilot!

Tonight, Lousine Gevorkian won the 2012 Nashe Award for Female Vocalist of the Year at their annual awards show. This year’s event took place at Moscow’s Stadium Live in front of a capacity crowd of thousands.
Our mixing engineer, Dan Korneff, decided to do his annual website update, and we’re pretty sure the only album he added to his discography page was ours!
We’re very happy to announce that filming for the new Louna video was finished on schedule!
While we’re not ready juuuuuuust yet to announce more details, we can say that about sometime in the middle of March we will have something very special ready to make public.
Until then, here’s a photo from the very last moment of filming. Can you name all the band members from left to right in this picture?
Day one of the filming for Louna’s new video is complete!
Details about the clip are closely guarded and the filming is taking place in the largest green-screen pavilion in Russia behind several layers of both private and official government security.
This is the only public photo from the first day of shooting and has been edited by the executive producer to keep the subject matter and concept for the video a secret.
There have been some exciting developments about our new release “Behind a Mask” and we will be able to share all the details in the next few days. This will affect all of our efforts worldwide in a very positive way and once we have everything settled we will be able to give more details.
Filming for the new Louna video begins February 17th and will take place over the course of several days at a secret location in Moscow. The set is closed and not even camera cell phones will be permitted inside by anyone other than the official photographers and videographers.
The over 2,000 square foot soundstage will contain the most elaborate and also probably the most expensive rock video ever produced in Russia. Set decorators have been hard at work developing the concepts contained in the script for over a month and costume designers will be working up to the last minute to outfit not only the band but a large cast of characters. Nearly every moment of the video will contain at least some CGI and compositing, and there will be a team of set supervisors from the SFX company overseeing the filming.
Being filmed specifically to support the release of “Behind a Mask” the video has been designed with a worldwide audience in mind and will be promoted heavily by a major video promotions company in the US.
The video is scheduled to be completed mid-April just prior to the release of “Behind a Mask”.
